Remarks

i had applied for all the superior IIT's such as IIT Bombay, Delhi, and so on... As according to my jee Advanced marks i had to get this one as best fitted. Admission criteria is somehow basics only that we had arranged all the documents asked by institutes such as medical certificates, Income certificate, and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is comfortable as in a sense we get much time to explore ourselves. faculty-student ratio = 1:25 All faculties are well qualified from good institutions and have good experience in their feild. midterm and end-term have a 1.5 to 2 months gap in between.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visit campus for hiring interns, as from 3rd-year students can go for an internship they can take that as outside or may get from campus. many good performers in internships also get PPO(pre-placement offers). Many students from our college get internship for big companies such as amazon, google and many more.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are also good here, lots of companies arrive to campuses such as Oyo, topper, L&T, Infosis, and many more. the average CTC is approx 15lakh/annum and the highest is Approx 43 lakh/ annum. for further more details you can look to iitbbs placements website. nearby 50 percent of students get placed and differ by branch-wise of candidates.

Fees and Financial Aid

As mentioned earlier fees are approx 200000 per annum for a person with no quota. Any candidate having a reservation quota such as sc st have a different fee structure comparative very low compare to general. there are also programs such as Tution fees remission based on your family incomes. Scholarship is also their MCM it is based on your CGPA.

Campus Life

There mainly 4 fests in our college Cultural fest(alma feista) Tech. fest (wissenaire) sports fest(ashwamedha) E-summit There is huge libarary avilable that is full of books. 50-60 students are their in classrooms. Their is use facilities available for sports (near by all sports ground/ courts are there) there are lots clubs related to different activities.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are quite good, providing balcony in each room and well furnitured. Meal quality is also good and in my view, it best fitted for non-veg. peoples. registrations is very simple, this all will done very nicely there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

My college experience

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
