Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum based on the new scheme (ktu) is very effective in conducting exams and publishing results in very less time when compared to the previous one.

No our college doesnt provide any internship facility.

The placement of campus is very high for IT. The main companies are TCS,WIPRO,UST GLOBAL last year 74 job placement were offered for IT branch. The companies offer 30,000 per month as a starting package

College Events

The techincal fest AAGNEYA is one of the main recognized college fest in trivandrum. AAGNEYA 2016 witnessed stage shows by masala cofee, balabhaskar, andre jermiah. The charity works done by mech dept named inspire had immense reach in trivandrum. The arts fest sargam is also of utmost importance which also leaves behind joys and smile in everyone.

The fee is 8000 per year which is feasible one taking into account the facilities out there

Campus Life

The campus life is just awesome with all those freedom and lovely moments. The workshops which are constantly held on robotics, augmented reality, brainwave robotics are just awesome. The seats are available for all minorities and majorities with an effective way of reservation

The seniors are very friendly. Its one of the main attractive feature in ma eyes. Frankly speaking, there hadnt been any ragging or such kind of things. The teachers are also very friendly

The exam structure of new scheme are having less gaps within examdays which is leaving as a difficulty for exam preparation.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

This was the only goverment college with the course I was looking for. Mistaken for the Kariavattom university campus, manu students apply for the college and upon arrival feel disappointed. But my case was different, I needed the course and the college was not an option. I didn't keep any other colleges for allotment. Just this one and got selected in the first round itself. For admission one needs to have high marks in the 12th. Especially in biologyz chemistry and physics. Index marks with high scores are more probable to get in....Read More

Bsc geography is a very good coarse but it is difficult to score marks. It is job oriented. It can be in many field after tsking geography. We can perform very well in upsc exams. It enables critical thinking and there are many interesting features to learn . We can get the application form online or from the college itself . Lifescience stream

The eligibility of the course is to have 60% and above in science stream for higher studies. Interested students can apply for BSc Biochemistry in this college. Admission process is via allotment. You should apply for many colleges of the subject in an order based on your interest. Reservation for OBC ,SC/ST, sports quota, etc is available.
