iim Sambalpur is situated in the orisha, no doubt it is the best MBA college in India. It has a very big campus, it is growing its quality every year, to take admission CAT examination is mandatory and anyone has to score 95 percentile and above for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always want to do MBA in human resource specialisation and iim Sambalpur is very good in this field, there are very much experienced faculties in IIM Sambalpur, they are very helpful except class time you can go to them to discuss questions too.

Internships Opportunities

A lot of eminent companies visits for internship placements. Summer Internship placements are closed with an average stipend of Rs. 70,000 for 2 months, everyone gets an internship from our college, placement cells try their best to get Internships all students.

Placement Experience

The institution has achieved 100% placement all year, the average package is around 11 LPA and Highest is around 60 lakh per annum, a lot of companies visited our campus every year. Many good companies like Accenture Strategy, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, Infosys, KIA Motors, L&T Infotech visits our campus.

Total fees are around 11 lakh in 2 years, these fees include all things. ROI is best, there is no other college in Orisha like iim Sambalpur. if you perform well in 1st year then there is a scholarship too, education loan option also available.

Campus Life

The campus is a very good, fully equipped library, neat and clean classrooms with AC. Amazing canteens, big auditoriums, sports complex, all are there on our campus. Hostels and classes are wifi enabled, there are so many social clubs too. according to your interest, you can join clubs.

Hostel Facilities

IIM sambalpur Provides separate hostels for boys and girls on its campus, rooms are fully wifi covered, meals are delicious and good, veg and non veg both options are available, rooms are single and double with attached bathrooms.. wardens are friendly.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Interview Experience

If you successfully get ta cut off marks in CAT that is 95 percentile then you will get mail for group discussion, current topics will be preferable in group discussion, after group discussion personal interview will be conducted, basic hr questions will be asked there.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.
