Remarks

The admission process was very simple and actually Very good. Just we have to do the required things, that's it like register and fill the form and pay the required fees. Further college administration will contact u back regarding admission and in case there is any confusion or mistake, you do not need to worry about anything. Actually, our admission went online due to the pandemic and it was really a very good experience and I did not bother about anything. It was quite simple and very smooth. So the admission process itself shows the working of the college. I found my college very good and it one of the stars and prestigious college of Delhi University. Excels in every aspect. The staff of daulat ram college is also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exams are held on a semester basis,i.e, after every 6 months. The question paper was set by the university itself and checked by them also, so i think there is no point to question the difficulty level .

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There is a lot of internships offered by various companies or websites. For example, many internships are offered by Internshala which is a reliable website, and the roles offered were maximum of graphic designing, content creator, digital marketing, etc. and it paid around 5000 to 10000 per month which I think is a good start. If they are paying you then u have to clarify all the tasks and projects as required under that particular job role.

Placement Experience

4

I think from the 4th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. I heard of the tata consultancy service (tcs), Wipro , Wallmart are the best company that visited the college. Although the selection was also tough. The highest package, I know, is about 7 lakhs per annum in these above-mentioned companies. I do not have any idea about the percentage of students getting placements . After getting the degree I have planned to appear for the UPSC examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although I did not apply for the scholarship my few friends applied for it, that was the national scholarship offered by the government. There is no scholarship given by the college itself. But, ya, it provides financial assistance to reserved category students or someone who is economically weaker.

Campus Life

4.5

Although I did not get the chance to enjoy my college life. But I heard from my seniors that it was awesome like the best moments of our life. There are so many events, extracurricular activities, and sports, etc. The annual fest was the cherry on the cake. I really enjoyed the freshers' party. The amenities were also very good. We also have a nice and large library. There are many social groups and clubs like the Gandhi study circle.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
