The right review

First I cleared JEE MAINS and my marks were decent enough to get into my Institute, IIIT GUWAHATI. When I got my seat in my Institute then I paid the fees excluding the fee I paid during counselling by JOSAA. After that, I got a call and mail from the Institute about when I should come and with what type of documents. After that, I tried to book a train ticket but didn't get it according to the admission date. So I contacted my Institute and informed them about the tickets. Then they told me not to worry and extended the date of admission for me by 2 days and then I reached there and got my admission done! The fees were quite high for me and my family but there is a facility of loan available for middle class students. I am very happy that I got admission there.

I chose CSE B.Tech at my Institute Because I love coding since my class 11th. The faculty to students ratio is quite decent about 1:7. All faculties are well prepared and are well experienced to teach things. As we know no exam is difficult but it depends on our preparation, In the first semester, It was moderate level to pass the examination as It's our first semester. But as soon as I managed there my marks and performance have increased drastically.

Since currently, I am in my 2nd year I don't know more about the information about students internships. But some of my friends are working in EDUREKA, geeksforgeeks, coding ninjas as interns and I also have applied for an internship on Microsoft.

At the end of the 6th semester, Companies starts coming to our campus for JOBS. last year Amazon, Wipro, TCS and many others companies visited our campus. The average package in CSE was 13Lpa. The highest package in CSE was 56lpa. About 93 % of students were placed and the rest went for higher studies. I planned on getting a job and not doing more studies.

Fee structure: 1) Tuition fees: Rs. 112500 per semester. 2) Mess fees about Rs. 4000 per month. 3) Hostel charges Rs. 12500 per semester. Some of my friends belong to SC/ST category and there is a facility for those students for Scholarships (NSP) but I don't know the exact amount they get. Talking about the placement, here the placements ON CAMPUS is quite good and last year the average package for the CSE branch went about 13 LPA and the highest package was 56lpa.

Annual fest we conduct every year "YUVAAN" our technical and cultural fest. It is conducted in March or April start. Our library is quite large to meet the need all type of books we need. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, speakers, Screen, Board and Mike as well. Talking about Sports, Our institute conducts many events throughout the year. We have many other groups like Photography Clubs, Drama Club, Art and music clubs, dance club, Programming clubs and many more.

In the hostel room, we are provided with tables, beds, lockers (each two) since most of the rooms are doubly occupied by two students. The meal quality and mess menu are awesome and it keeps changing after 4 months. Hostel fees are 12500 per semester.
