Online journey of college

I applied for DU and IP university but I was unable to match the cut off percentage of du. I didn't avail any quota. There is no requirement of minimum marks or age. Admission is based on an entrance exam conducted by IP university every year. The admission process is simple and most things are done online. After the entrance ranks are released and we are provided with a choice filling form. Then the college is allotted to the students. Then verification of documents is done.

I choose this course because from the 9th standard I was curious to study economics as a subject. There are 12 faculty members for around 360 students. The teachers are well qualified and have complete knowledge about their subject. Even while attending the online classes we felt like we are actually in the classroom. The quality of study they provide is high and the results are also high then. Examinations happen after every semester. We have given our exams through online mode that was quite clear.

The students of the final year are eligible for campus placements. There are a no. of companies that visited our college like Oracle, ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank, HDFC Bank, and many other companies. The highest package they offer is Rs.5 Lakhs. 95% of the students get placed under the campus placement. I am planning to complete my masters after my graduation.

The fees hike takes after a certain period of time. The cost of the study is relatively high as the classes are being held through online mode only. They do not provide any scholarship or financial assistance to students who are in need. We didn't get any job on campus.

Sankaran is the fest being organised by VSE every year in the month of February or March. There is a huge library with books of all kinds. Since the classes are held online we didn't know much about facilities in the classroom. There are a no. of societies, according to your interest you can be a part of the particular society. I am currently the part of art society Kalaa.
