Remarks

Earlier, I tried to apply for Punjab University but its admissions were closed because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic due to which no entrance exam was conducted. Yes, the only quota that helped me to take admission in COE in Thapar was SINGLE GIRL CHILD. On the basis of 12 boards.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I am interested in coding also there's a big scope in the computer field. The faculty to student ratio is 1:10. Some of the faculty members are having master's degrees and some with Ph.D. Due to the 3ongoing pandemic, exams were held only once including quizzes and sessionals. It was not that difficult to pass the online semester.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Thapar University is very expensive. Total fees come around 24-25 lacs. But there are multiple scholarships available that can significantly reduce the fees. Thapar also provides all the scholarships given by the government on the basis of merit.

Campus Life

Saturnalia is one of the best annual fests that take place in the month of November at Thapar. The library at Thapar is amazing. It's 24 hours open for students to read and memorize. Various cultural and technical events were conducted as a part of the fest for example photography, movie making, robotics, hackathons, workshops, etc.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. inside campus walls

i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
