Admission was based on the allotment of college by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) Maharashtra, DTE allots colleges along with branches based on cut-off marks of JEE (mains) or MHT CET. One has to choose the college from the list of colleges allotted to him/her according to their choice. I did not avail any quota for admission. The admission process was very smooth. You have to visit the campus along with all the documents along with a few xeroxes of all the original documents.

I have chosen computer engineering as this was my first priority and also I got it allotted to me according to my marks in JEE mains examination. I was also considering Information Technology as my second priority if I would have not got the computer branch. Faculties in my departed are skilled in teaching. most of them are Ph.D. holders, some of them are also holding a doctorate in various fields of computer science. Teachers are very strict in terms of students' attendance so you have attended regularly. The teaching method is also good. Faculties do a lot of hard work for the students to make them understand the concepts. Sometimes you can have extra classes if your performance is not good in examinations. Exams are held according to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Also, there are many class tests for internal assessment. There are both online as well as offline examinations. However, it's not too difficult to pass the exam. you can perform well if you do a fair amount of study

College also provides various internship opportunities to its students. Students build mini projects and major projects in both the third wells as the final year of their course. These projects help students crack internship opportunities and earn a good stipend.

Sinhgad Colleges have a central placement cell called as sinhgad placement cell. among all the colleges this college has a generally higher number of students placed through campus placement. Many product-based, as well as service-based companies, approaches the students through campus placement every year. some of them are Infosys, cognizant, TCS, persistent, Nvidia, etc. some of the companies like Infosys and cognizant are the mass recruiters, which means they hire many students at once every year which generally crosses the counting of hundred. many product companies offer higher packages up to 10 LPA. The overall average package is good. The campus placement drive mostly begins with the start of the seventh semester. A very large number of students get placed every year through campus placements which are good for students.

Fees are different for different categories as usual. Fees for the general category could be up to nearly 1 lakh per year. Hostel fees are charged separately. you have to pay the fee every year right after the start of the new session. There is not too much hike in the overall fees every year. cost of the study is slightly less as compared with the other colleges. All the fee structures are according to Savitribai Phule Pune University so you do not have to worry about fee hikes. Scholarships are provided to the students who belong to ST, SC, and OBC categories by the government of Maharashtra. you must be a domicile of Maharashtra state to be eligible for the scholarship. you can also avail yourself scholarships from other organizations or government bodies.

Sinhgad karandak is one of the largest college events in Pune and is held inside the main campus itself. Sinhgad karandak is a one-week-long annual fest that includes many cultural and technical events across all the campuses that comes under sinhgad. It is generally conducted in the month of February. It also includes various sports tournaments among the colleges. The college has a central library building that includes libraries of all the colleges under sinhgad along with reading halls. The college library has a rich collection of books on academics and nonacademic subjects. They will issue you a library card which you can use to issue books from the library for 1 or 2 weeks. you can also renew the issue of the books for as long as you want. the college also has its own sports team for various sports like cricket, football, basketball, etc. It also provides a fitness building that has provision for various indoor games like chess, carrom, etc. The college also has many clubs, social groups.
