Remarks
The admission process was totally online. One single admission form was filled for all the courses and colleges. DU released cutoffs in October and the admission process was completed till December end. For BSc. Mathematics Honours aggregate marks of any 2 core subjects, maths and English was considered. Exams are held semester-wise through various tests, assignments, and presentations that are given.
Course Curriculum Overview
The staff of SGNDKC is very nice and highly educated. Most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D.'s. They are quite helpful. This course has 2 core subjects algebra and calculus in the first semester along which one AECC and GE(Generic elective) subjects are given. Similarly, in semester 2 there are Real analysis and Differential Equations as core subjects. The same continues further which 2 or 3 core subjects every semester.
Internships Opportunities
Various off campus and on campus internship oppurtunities for job profiles like Market analyst intern, marketing executive, content writers, graphic designers, financial mmodeling, HR, Marketing etc. are offered from companies like Seekho, Impact Guru , Younity, Escafate etc which are open for all courses and all years for a different duration from 1 month to 6 month are provided. Stipend is also given depending upon the profile and duration with several perks like LOR, Certificate of completion etc.
Placement Experience
Placements are offered to the last year students by various companies like Wipro etc. Everything is handled under p-Cell which is the placement cell of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College. Highest package was around 4-5lacs. Most of the students to go for higher studies. I will also pursue my further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total course fees for 3 years is around INR60,000 which is INR20,000 for 2 semesters. College provides great internship opportunities. The college has its own placement cell which brings different internships for students of all the years and courses.
Campus Life
The college has different societies like Nepathya-The dramatics society, Envisage- The environmental society, Asankh- The mathematical society etc. Time to time events are organized by various societies. College also has canteen space and fully air conditioned library which has huge number of books, journals and magazines. College also has NCC and NSS oppurtunities.
