Remarks

The admission process starts from the CAT score itself. Shortlisting of students for baby IIM's is done on the basis of previous academics and graduation score which has to be more than 70%. I got a call regarding the application process after which I had to appear for GD and PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

IIMs teach MBA program which has a hierarchial syllabus. The faculty-student ratio is quite good as for each faculty there are 10 students to handle. Every faculty has a phd degree and industry experience to share with. Online exams are easy to tackle which occur every 4th month.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 1300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am working in a company named clear exam as a 2-month internship program. The roles are a project manager. The internship roles offered in our college are management intern HR intern advertising intern product manager etc.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is good as many companies come up with different roles for the batch. @nd trimester of 2nd year is when students start participating in placements. This year our college has recorded the highest package 26 lakhs and a median of 13 lakhs. There has been an increase of 10% in total records and recruiters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure as compared to other top IIMs is a bit low. 13 lakhs are the total fees for 3 years. You can easily get scholarships to the extent of the whole fees as the brand IIM is very recognisable.

Campus Life

As batch 2020 had online session until now. Books are posted to the students and ebooks access is given to each student on the intranet library website of the college. No other amenities in the campus has been accessed by the batch.

Interview Experience

I faced a WAT which stands for written ability test in which you have to write an essay about any topic which is given to you. After the selection in WAT, we have a personal interview which is the final hurdle for admission to IIM Sambalpur.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

IMI offers 100% placements. Companies like SBI life , Kodak, Taj Hotels , Infosys come. In the first year we are given plenty of placement preparation training. We have a committee particularly dedicated towards it. Be it quant, reasoning, gd all are being taken care of.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.
