Remarks

Nothing important it was good and well it's nice. I am happy to study in this college. The admission process was easy, not bad. I have not applied for any other courses. The minimum age is 18 and marks should above 50 and I was happy about that. All the faculty members are too good. No complaints about that.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course to get a nice job and I like the profession. Faculty has a good ratio when we compare it with students. Every department has a minimum of 15 faculty members so it's good. Every faculty are highly qualified many of them hold PhD's in there on professions.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 37500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Good internship programs are conducting in our college and we are happy about it. Many projects have been done in the college and we are happy about it. Many car companies are there to do internships.

Placement Experience

After the students having good marks gets placements and other company offers too. Many companies visit our college mainly MRF, TATA, MAHINDRA, and so on. Most all students get placements. I have decided to go for higher studies after engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess its high in this covid situation. But what to do we have to pay then only we will be eligible to attend the exam. I have no scholarships and I am looking onto it to get in the near future. Many students are in a difficult situation to pay their fees.

Campus Life

Our annual fest name is Asthra and other fests and programmes are also conducted in our college too. Our college includes main sports items and we are participating in the annual meet also so it's happy to be in this college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good not too good. Food quality is not so good but in order to survive, we need to have that. Ya, it's affordable every student is satisfied. It has a good locality and a good vibe and happy to be there.

Hostel Fee: INR 27500 per year

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is lakhs relevance to modern industry demands. while it covers the basics there is minimum focus on practical skills emerging technologies and real world applications overall, the courses not comprehensive enough.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

My options were SJCET and AJCE. Now both are autonomous, when i was there to join a student commit suicide and my friend was already a student who pursuing ece and said dont ever come to the hell. I had applied to various coleges. That includes amal jyothi college of engineering and technology and also registered for for rajagiri school of engineering and technology.
