Thapar experience : honest review

I had applied to many iits and nits and bits Pilani also but I wanted a computer engineering program which I was not getting in other colleges and our process was fully online due to pandemic and got admission on basis of 12th boards result.

There were many opportunities in this field I choose the computer branch. The difficulty ratio is around 1:18. All faculty have a minimum master level of degree and many have PhDs in their respective fields. After 5-6 months our end sem is conducted and the difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Many big companies like Amazon, jio, reliance come for 5 months. Internships are given at end of the 2nd year or mid of the 3rd year. Projects made by students help them to get internships and have a good future.

Students are Eligible for campus placement from 6th semester onwards over 200+ company comes every year including top companies like Amazon. Highest package 43lac, Average package 9 lac, I have planned to get the internship and go for a job. 90% of students are placed every year.

It is prkta e institute so it's expensive than other colleges and it's nearly 25 lac with hostel fees for 4 years. Many scholarships approved by govt approved Thapar. It provides educational loans. Ans have many more opportunities.

There is thapar fest called Saturnalia held in September every year followed by different festivals and programs every year Thapar has a great size library. And have around 40000+ books 1000+journals etc. Classrooms are super with modern facilities like Hitech projectors and fully ac There is a vast variety of sports complexes starting from indoor games and outdoor games and anyone can opt for them There are various society's which we can join on basis of our interest many events take place and conducted by various society's every year.
