The college management is done extremely finely and I have absolutely no complaints regarding my college.

I gave JEE MAINS and then JEE ADVANCED. I got AIR 2599 in JEE ADVANCED. I opted this as IIT is the best college available in India and it has been my dream to study here.

I am in the first year of B.Tech so I don't have much to research on but there are a lot of clubs over here, like robotics club, aero modeling club, etc. So participating in such clubs' workshops do enhance our thinking not up to the research level though. And inter hostel technical competitions also encourage it.

Yes, it obviously provides internship. I am a first year student so I am not really aware of the details but it does happen in our summer and winter break.

It's IIT, placements are extremely good but again, being a first year student, I'm not aware of the details. And all the well reputed companies come to the campus including Google but some companies select very few people, so we can't really say. Last year the highest was around 1 crore I guess, I don't know exactly though.

Our technical festival, Techniche is the second largest technical festival in India and the largest in the North-East indian region. Techniche is generally in the first week of August and it comprises of various events including the well reputed exam technotholon. Our cultural festival, Alcheringa is again the second largest technical festival in India and the largest in the North-East indian region.

As you know Indian Institute of Technology has recently increased the fees the fees are feasible for everyone. Also one has to give lesser fees according to the salary pay if still someone has any problem regarding fees and stuff, there are interest free loans over here. Also there are scholarships given to students.

The campus life is amazing really the best I've ever lived again it's IIT so people from all diverse backgrounds come and study over here the gender ratio is approximately 1 male to 1 female over here everything mentioned above is available here in the best possible manner.

Everyone in the Indian Institute of technology, Guwahati resides in the campus itself in the hostel room. There are a total of eight boys hostels, two girls hostels and one married scholars hostel for the married M.Tech, PhD candidates. Mess food is really great but we don't have variety, which further we can talk to about the Mess Management committee. If one is fed up with mess food, we can also pay and eat in the food court which is in the campus.

We have a body named SAIL, Student Alumni Interaction Linkage, we can reach this body any time and have our doubts cleared regarding the placement offers an everything else.

Each seam contains two quizes, a midsem exam and an endsem exam. Also there are labs three days a week. And the lab exams are taken before the endsem. But again, studying is not the only thing you do in IIT. There are various amounts of events workshops and competitions to participate in so overall it's quite hectic.

Ok so we first get our ranks (AIR) and then we start to fill out our preference list which consists of what branch we want and in which college. There are 5 rounds and we need to choose if we want to slide, float or select the allotted Institution and branch. Also we got to visit the nearest IIT for booking of seat.

It is the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati so obviously the faculties here are extremely qualified. Also the equipment provided for labs and workshops are really of a good standard so I have absolutely no complains regarding faculties or the course.
