Fantastic college NIT Agartala

Good aspects are :-1. Very good and nice campus and better facility2. Good faculty with good knowledge and huge experience3. Better placement in the final year compared to other engineering colleges

I had a keen interest on core electronics topics from the class XII. That's why I chose the B. Tech course in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Qualifications of the Assistant Professors is M. Tech and PHD. Faculty : Student ratio is 1:7.There are two exams per Semester ie, Mid term exam and End term exam. The exams are easy to pass for a good student, but if a student don't study well and regularly and don't concentrate on the lectures which is provided by the faculties, then it will be so much difficult to pass the exam. Some Students get year back also for their bad performance in their academics.

The placement and job opportunities are good enough. The Final year students of all the branches are eligible to sit for campus placement. Percentage of students getting placements is approximately 60-70%.

The average Tuition fees per Semester is 70,000, but if the family income of any student is less than 1 lacs per annum then the Tuition fees become 6,000 per Semester for him/her, and if the family income of any student is between 1 and 5 lacs per annum, then the Tuition fees become 28,000 per month. There is also a good opportunity to avail various types of scholarships. Campus placement scenario is comparatively good enough to get a good job. A lot of renowned companies visit to the campus placement of this college and many students are placed in this companies and the average salary package is also good.

The life at the campus is very awesome because the campus is so nice and the infrastructure of this campus is so good. This college conducts the Tech fest every year in the month of March - April, but due to COVID-19 situation this tech fest couldn't have conducted from last two years. There is also a grand library in the campus and the availability of books and other facilities are so good. The students can easily get any book they want to study from this library and they can freely access this books. The classrooms are so nice and the hygienic conditions of the classrooms are also good. There is also good sports facility in the campus. There is a huge sports complex in the campus which is the largest sport complex among all the NITs. And the students of this college are also involved in some extra-curricular activities like NSS, Robotics club, Gymkhana etc.

I did not avail the Hostel facility, but many of my friends availed the Hostel facility. So I know that various facilities are provided in the hostel rooms. Meal quality is also good. The hygienic condition of Hostel rooms is comparatively better. I took the rent at Agartala city.

Must have secured 75% in Board Exam, must be cleared JEE MAINS Exam
