Remarks
It being a IIIT is specialized institute for the branch which it teaches. Being for CSE many non-CSE subjects weren't to be in course.I joined here for my interest in CSE specific and for the culture of IIIT
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure here is top notch. I reaffirm that it being IIIT doesn't teach non core CSE subjects like engineering drawings, chemistry, industrial workshop etc. Being core-CS it wants to give specialization in AI and ML. This year EC branch will also come then it will be a full-fledged IIIT.Faculties as far as course is concerned try to teach everything in syllabus. Some even give stress upon GATE exam and its questions. Most of the faculties are nice here. Some 4-5 are exceptionally good. It has faculties with the teaching experience in BITS Pilani and NIT Durgapur. Those are specially very nice and expert in their field. For more information their pages on institute site can be seen.
Placement Experience
Placement on campus are OK but it needs a revolutionary improvements. JiO here gives highest package of around 23 LPA which at max 3-4 students get out of the batch of 80.Many students approx 15-20 get placement of 12+ LPA. Many students go for off campus and get into giants like Goldman Sachs, Amazon etc. Many remaining go to higher studies and rest go for less than 12 LPA job and even at 3-6 LPA job at consultancy ferms(this bracket being very big).A big improvement is needee in it hope God willing it will improve maybe with harder work of people associated in TnP cell.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Scholarship and financial assistance all are there which are provided by Government of India as IIIT is a central institute.Frankly speaking fee is quite high and could have been optimised to be lower. Though all IIITs have same fee. Especially in these COVID time it should have been lowered.For scholarship, one can visit nsp site and research there. This institute is registered on NSP
Campus Life
Clubs and all are just average here. Though clubs and events requires more attention towards them. Cannot explain more as we haven't visited college due to COVID. So, permanent campus is gonna be built soon and a great part of work will be completed this year. Hostels are almost built and will take 2-4 months as I have heard. With the new campus things will improve towardd better.
Hostel Facilities
Giving ratings according to just what i have heard.The hostels are now thr transitory ones. The permanent ones are built at an OK speed and gonna be operative till this year end as far as I have heard. Other facilities i haven't personally experienced. So, cannot tell much.
