Remarks
VGSOM, IIT Kharagpur is a good B School. An MBA from an IIT ecosystem is much more valued than a normal MBA college. The placements and infrastructures are best . In NIRF 2020 the college is having 2nd rank. The admission is merit based on CAT scores, followed by GD and PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum covers all the major aspects of business and management education. The faculties are very good and excellent in teaching. They are very much supportive to students. faculty student interactions are very good.
Placement Experience
The placement offers are very decent in the campus. In 2020 final placements, the highest salary CTC was 26.5 LPA and average CTC was INR 18.44 LPA. Ford, Amazon, Bloomberg, ICICI Bank, ITC, PwC, Deloitte, Arvind, Wipro, Titan, Vedanta, Facebook, Saavn, Mahindra, Kotak, IDFC etc are some prominent recruiters.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for the four semesters include INR 1159760, which can be paid in installments. Tuition fee waivers are given to economically weaker students. International Immersion Programme fees should be paid in extra.
Campus Life
The campus life has taught me a lot in the two years of residential programme. The peer group interactions, organisation of fests and events, committee programmes helped the students to become more social. and Tech Club, E-cell, Social Club, Consulting Club, Finance club etc are some popular student driven clubs in the campus.
