CATE, for eligibility in English Hons. Literature had always been a passion of mine, and hence, chose to do this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been curated with a lot of attention to detail, so that the students are exposed to the different writings across eras and geographies. The reading material selected is both interesting and informative, and adds a lot to the knowledge of the students.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide internship offers for students of some fields. This was, however, not the case for English Hons. students.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities available at Kamala Nehru college are at par with other colleges under the umbrella of Delhi University. Campus selection is regularly carried out for students who graduate from the college. Some organisations which hire from KNC include Wipro, Zomato, etc.
Campus Life
Campus life in Kamala Nehru College is a lot of fun. There is no question of gender diversity or gender ration as Kamala Nehru is an all girls college, and not a co-ed one. The college have a lot of societies in which the students can participate.
Exam Structure
The three year undergraduate course has been divided into six semesters. Other than the six semester exams, the college regularly carries out internal evaluations and tests as per the university guidelines. The college offers a consistent and progressive learning curve to all its students.
Admission
Filled the online form for CATE exam. After the cut off marks were declared by the colleges, we proceeded to the colleges of our choice where we were eligible. Procured the prospectus from the college, and filled in the form. All the proceedings, including the submission of fees and final admission confirmation were finished within one day.
