Remarks
THDC - IHET is one of the popular colleges located in the foothills of the Himalayas, its exact location is B. Puram in Tehri. Its infrastructure is well and good and it has all the study material in the library and it also has good faculties.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed this because it is very popular in future as we all know that computer science is a very vast field on its own and due to my keen interest in it I decided to take CSE as my branch. There is 1 faculty for 50 students approx. Many faculties have done Mtech and some are PhD. Happens in every 3 months Exam are quite easy to pass.
Placement Experience
In 7 semester, the company which visits my college is not some big companies but some service-based startup visit our college. 40+ offers made per semester by one company. The highest is 4 lakh lowest is 3.5 lakh. 100% gets placement guidance and almost 30% gets on-campus placement. I will do MTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike generally does not happen frequently because of semi-state government college, the fee is also not so high it is approx 37000 per sem and many students have also got scholarship under various quote which gives relaxation to them.
Campus Life
Annual fest does take place in normal circumstances and more importantly Tehri lake festival one of the largest festivals of UK takes place at a distance of 5 km maximum. Almost what students need books that are available their except humanities books. Classrooms are well maintained and have proper ventilation, a digital board, and all kinds of labs are available. Cricket tournament happens periodically. There are various clubs run by students like Udaan for teaching underprivileged kids of age between 3-15.
