You have to appear for Assam cee to get admission into Jorhat engineering college. On the basis of your marks, you will have to list down College's name in Preference in counseling. ASSAM CEE EXAM is the only way to get admission in AEC, JEC (JORHAT ENGINEERING COLLEGE) for B. TECH, if you are 12, passed or appearing.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am doing B.Tech from Jorhat engineering college in computer science and engineering department my choice was that I would they come a software engineer so that I wanted to have computer Science as my branch. I give JEE names and I could not take the exam read the exam crack the exam as a fresher and not well prepared for the same. During those five months of lockdown, I prepared a lot much I can but doing that also not doing instead of doing I couldn't crack JEE mains study of same which I did help me to crack Assam CEE. After taking Assam CEE I was called for counseling and I chose computer science Jorhat Engineering College as my first preference and I got the same. My second reference was Assam Engineering College with computer science engineering.
Internships Opportunities
Abroad companies from Japan Singapore visit the campus and the students for internships. They provide a good stipend and job. This year in 2021 5 students got internship offers in Japan. Internships are not offered by other colleges or JEC colleges. The internship is offered only by the companies for the 4th year only.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for in 12 you campus interview placements from third-year only in 4th year participates in the interview placement. Companies like cognizant, Byju's, etc. Come for placements. Highest package for computer science and engineering department 800000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not get any scholarship from the school or college that's true even though but you can opt for government scholarships we can also tell in still I am waiting for the same. No college does not provide any scholarships because the college fees are so low as compared to other colleges which are 12000 per year and an extra 1200 for registration.
Campus Life
College provides a lot of co-curricular activities a lot of clubs like cultural club drama club coding club social Work club and then robotics club consultancy club and more Each year there is an annual college program sports called phoenix whereWales everyone participates and enjoys. A Library in the college is available.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facility is good enough for a Rent of 2000 per month. Private colleges charge 25000 per month. Show comparing the fees for rent the hostel facility is good enough for living for 4 years. There are 10 hostels in Jorhat Engineering College. 8 hostels boys and to hostels are for girls. There is also PG outside college so one can stay in PG too
