Roorkee College of Engineering, admission process is simple and smooth. If you are taking direct admission without UKSEE counselling, you have to deposit INR 10000 at the time of admission, which is included in your fee. There are various scholarships provided by the college on basis of your class 12th score, JEE mains score and sports quotation.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen CSE basis on my interest as it is the time of advancement in technology. The faculty of the college is very cooperative. Students can take help from teachers at any time. Mostly the faculty is postgraduate and PhDs. The exam is held on time I.e midterm exams and so difficult for a hardworking student and the final exams are held on UTU guidelines.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships for students here. Even the college is providing information for online internships. The faculty also helps students to participate in various internships programs offered by companies.
Placement Experience
From the 8th semester, one is eligible for placement. Various companies are visiting the campus including the MNC's. Till now highest package is 15 lakhs. According to college, 88% of students are getting placed in various companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Btech -INR 1,04,900/- for the first year INR 99,900/- for the second, third and fourth year. The scholarship is provided on basis of your 12th percentage and JEE score. The scholarship is also provided in the sports quota.
Campus Life
College annual fest name is UTKARSH held every year mainly in April. Various events are also organized in college from time to time mostly at the weekends including tech fests. Students can issues books from the College library easily. All classrooms are smart classrooms. Various sports like cricket, football, volleyball are also there in College and tournaments are also conducted for the same. College is having Various social and cultural groups.
Hostel Facilities
There are three types of room normal, semi deluxe and deluxe. The fee structure is different for all three. Mess charges are included in the hostel fee. There are not many facilities in the rooms. Laundry is unavailable in the hostel. The hostel is inside the campus. The meals are good. If you don't want to opt for a hostel then worry not you can get rooms and PG facilities in city Roorkee 7-8 km from college.
