A Sneak Peek into my college life experience

The entire admission process was very smooth. I didn't find any difficulty with the admission procedure. My percentage was more than the required cut off so I got direct admission. I just had to fill up the required documents and submitted the necessary documents like marksheet, transfer certificate, etc. After doing all the formalities, my admission was confirmed. The counseling session was very great. I was mentored by a teacher whose nature was very calm. He calmly and effectively handled everything and also discussed the college with us. All in all, I loved the management of the college.

Exams were on time and it wasn't difficult to pass. It's not difficult for the ones who study and pay attention in class. And luckily, I was the meritorious student in my class. So, I didn't find it any difficult to pass.

Our college not only offers job but also internship to the students interested. The companies which have offered internship to our college are: the healthy company, shine projects, MPL, mood agent, cred flow, IFortis Corporate, go Dutch, Zomato, feeding India, snapdeal, zelus, ekart, Cevent, adpushup, chaayos, pepper content, Supply note, maven force, Finedge, seekify, writtenlyhub, quest 4 crest and many more. As we look into the statistics, 25k is the highest internship offered, 9.17k is the mean stipend offered, 7.5k is the median stipend offered. And there was 60% internship selection. AGNITO was the recent internship fair organised by our college and it was a great step.

The placement of my college is quite good. It has even developed more after I passed out. The placement usually starts during the last semester of the students themselves. Students start preparing for their campus placements. Various workshops, seminars also take place during this whole recruitment drive. The companies which have offered placement to our college students are Whitehat Jr, BYJUs, Class plus, Chegg, KPMG, Lenskart, Jaro education, XL dynamics, Aston Carter, Wipro, Google, ICICI, Tres vista, Zone media, and many more companies. The highest placement offered package was 10LPA. And 5LPA is the median salary offered. Students have been offered jobs for various profiles such as BDE, Sales executive, Financial analyst, HR executive, etc. There was 26.9% placement selection during this year. I am a political science student so I didn't sit for the campus placement. I am preparing for UPSC.

The scholarship was meant for those students who were financially weak and since I didn't apply for the financial assistance. There were campus placements too but for my course, students usually go either for competitive exams or PhD.

There were many social groups in my college like NCC, NSS, Udaan, Enactus, Student Council, Debate Society, dance society, drama society, departmental societies, arts and cultural society, adventure society, photography society, entrepreneur society, environment study circle, Gandhi study circle and film appreciation club. We also had a student union for student's welfare.
