Remarks

After class 12th result, I was very confused about opting for the right college but then when I looked more about my college I decided to go with the decision of taking admission in Graphic Era Hill University that is situated in Dehradun which is a safe and healthy place for girls. Then after I had decided about the college I found out that there is a quota for girls where they will get 10% off on the fee and also the scholarships were provided according to the 12th percentage. The process included the first stage as registration after which we were provided with a login id and password and after that, we were required to fill the form completely and at the last were required to submit our 10th and 12th mark sheet and the respective state domicile and if it was of Uttarakhand we would get an extra 15% off on the fees and as I belong to Uttrakhand, I submitted my domicile. So this was my application process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I love to code in different languages since class 8th. The faculty of the college is excellent. Every teacher is a Ph.D. and has experience of 25 plus years in teaching. We are examined every 3 months that is in a semester we have 2 exams in a gap of 3 months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am in my first year right now so just now I have not done any internship. Talking about projects we are working on python language-related projects and also are learning Web development right now. We are learning CSS HTML and javascript.

Placement Experience

The students become eligible from their 5th semester. The number of total offers made is 1000 plus and the companies which offer placements are google amazon Infosys Flipkart Accenture byjus and many more. The percent of students getting placed is 92%. Considering my plans I will take my job that will be offered and then after 2 years of working, I will complete my master's and then have a Ph.D.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very good. The campus placements are also very good. The maximum package was 54 lacs when a girl in her 4th year was placed in google. The other placements include 4 students in amazon 2 in Microsoft too.

Campus Life

The availability of the books is also very good. The extra curriculum includes sports like basketball volleyball etcetera. As we are still studying online so we are not being charged with the sports fee because we cannot experience them and it is a plus point that they are not charging us fees for that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
