VIPS: A plateau of opportunities

I applied for various colleges of both IPU as well as DU but ultimately chose VIPS as I always wanted to pursue my higher education from here and also the ranking of VIPS being the highest of all, also i read reviews about VIPS which also helped me make up my opinion on enrolling in this institute. the reviews were good and proved to be very helpful and indeed true in all aspects be it teachers, seniors or anything.I fall in the general category and thus could no opt for a quota. I chose economics honors as my course and for this, we had to obtain a certain rank to get enrolled here and also respectable preferably above 60% marks in maths and science as these both play a key role in economics honors. The admission process was completed in a span of 1.5 to 2 hours at max. It was very simplified and the teachers guiding us for the process were very helpful indeed helping us explain all the forms and necessary requirements. Overall the process was very easy and smooth.

I chose Economics Honours as I always had keen interest in economics and wanted to pursue it in my future. economics always excited me and created to learn about the working of our economies. The student-teacher ratio is also very good being about 7:1 which helps focus on each student with ease. The teachers are highly qualified and their teaching methods are very inclusive and make even tough things easy to interpret and understand. The exams were also timely thus testing our knowledge time to time . Class tests quizzes took almost every weekend were fairly easy if you have studied and understood the topics even in the class only.

i am being a first-year student haven't been offered any internships as of now it is offered to seniors Internships are offered in the fields of marketing sales data analysis policy making public relations etc which include both ways with and without stipend work. the main projects of all these internships depend on various companies and vary but basis being same of marketing sales finance policymaking thus making us better to deal in cooperate world.

About 90% of students get campus placements and it ranges to an average of 5 lakhs per anmum for eco hons stream. the mai companies recruiting are oracle,icici , hdfc and many other reputed ones. most students tho further study and do an MBA rather than opting for placements.My plan on after getting the degree is going for an MBA in Finance as it would help me develop my knowledge even more.

The fees are not that much and are affordable but are obviously higher as compared to DU. Bt the facilities and infrastructure offred covers this fact and thus the fees seem affordable. The cost to study depends solely on you as cheap transportation, food and accommodation are available with easy metro and buses connectivity.

The campus is very green, spacious, and is spread n a large land. It houses 3 gardens fountains and all sorts of these things to please the eye and make the environment better and greener. Fests are also held every year by the socities and there are many socities in all fields ranging from photography to finance dance and everything. the campus life is overall very good due to the large campus good infrastructure airconditioned classes internal cafeteria and all sorts of amenities located in and near the college only. The college also has a lot of extracurricular activites for the students to enjoy.
