Entrance Preview
I took iit-jee mains entrance exam in which i scored 160 marks and got a national rank of 30 thousand approx . In the score I had I thought that this was the best college I could opt for .
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to savitri bai phule pune university so we have a pre defined curriculum for all four years and the electives are upto the point as per needed by the student . These include theory of computation , data structures object oriented programming which are mainly needed for the computer background people.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship and the stipend can range from experience based to 20 thousand a month. I am in the third year so i don't know the overall experience.
Placement Experience
To provide excellent placement opportunities to most of the students by inviting leading industries from all domain for campus recruitment. In year 2010-11 out of 360 214 were placed in companies. In year 2011-12 out of 360 208 were placed in companies. In year 2012-13 out of 360 176 were placed in companies. In year 2013-14 out of 360 235 were placed in companies. In year 2014-15 out of 360 249 were placed in companies.In year 2015-16 out of 360 277 were placed in companies.
College Events
The college holds namely five annul fests which including the internal college fest called Aakriti , the annual sports fest which is Pace , the technical fest which is Solutions, Cultural fest which is Amethyst and the alumni meet . The technical and sports fest being the biggest harbouring almost 10000 participants annually.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible enough which is 200000 in the first year and then decreasing the year later to 160000 then getting constant in the third and fourth years to 150000 . In comparison to other private colleges taking more than 3 lakhs an years.
Admission
The admission form is released every year in the month of april right before the iit-jee mains examination. It is available on the institute's website which is apitpune.com. After you get the result a college merit list is produced and according to that the students are enrolled.
Faculty
They provide the state of art infrastructure till deemed sufficient through input of students for building up a centre of excellence. Nurture and foster an academic fraternity to cater to the needs of the engineering student community. Department has been accredited by NBA, for the period, of 5 Years. All Senior faculty members have contributed in curriculum development and 4 faculty members registered for PhD.
