Impressed with the infrastructure and faculty of Thapar institute

The admission process was just similar like the other colleges. It began with the seminars and introductory sessions by our DOAA(dean of academic affairs).It consisted of basically 3 rounds of counseling in which cut offs list were decided. So everyone got their branches according to their preferences. After 3 rounds 2 spot rounds were held based on first come first serve.

My course B.E in COE at thapar Institute is renowned since many years and is considered one of the best branches of all.All the professors and other faculties are none less than P.H.D from reputed institutions They are way experienced and their teaching is quite interesting.The syllabus for the exams is decided by an expert panel. Syllabus for all the branches in the first year is almost the same and in the 2nd year it gets divided branch wise.The exams are held twice in a semester i.e. mid semester and end semester examination and in between there are many quizzes held just to keep students on a track .Simultaneously the lab evaluations are too held alongside. The syllabus of exams initially seems a bit difficult to cope up with but the exams are generally asked from what is being taught in the class.

Students can apply for internships since 1st year for off campus as well as on campus . On campus companies provide for around 50 k per month and also depends on the company role. Not all students can grab internship its just those who have will to get it

Hey peeps. So starting with my branch is computer engineering which contains around 30 subgroups comprising of around 800 students.This branch is one the oldest branches of the institute and is best known for its placement in entire college. During the placements in 2020, around 246 companies visited and placed around 80 % of the students.The top companies that visited were Amazon, Microsoft, John Morgan and chase and many more.

Around 28 courses are being offered at TIET in B.E field and the fees per semester varies from 150000 to 213000. Honestly the fees is too high as compared to other colleges and this is the major drawback according to me and for those who cannot afford this high fee. I am in second year presently so I am not in any placement .

Thapar being one of the renowned institutions of India is best known for its academic excellence and the exposure and infrastructure it provides to its students. The institute is spread in 300 acres with a lush of green everywhere. You will never regret thinking about the infrastructure facilities of Thapar.The newly built smart classrooms provide every facility that a student requires. They contain high speed wifi and well equipment infrastructure.The hostels are very well maintained and some of them offer fabulous food bit sometimes the food is not upto the mark but nevermatter there are night canteens which are opened till late nights and in the day too .one thing I live about my college is its library. It's so huge containing 1000s of books and is perfect place for students to study.

Hostels are one of the best place in thapar . The newly built ones are totally iconic and seems like living in some 5 star hotels. There are also some old ones hostels that too are upto mark to live in .ALL the hostels have greenery spread all around. It also contains mess ,reading room,gym,yoga room and big halls for students to enjoy. The Quality of food depends on hostel to hostel but is okay . Sometimes the food served is so delicious. The menu contains balanced food which is in accordance to the students demands as well
