Remarks
I applied for several colleges at Delhi University as well as IPU. No, I did not apply for any quota. I was from the general category. The minimum mark for my course was 94.75% at Ramjas College. The admission process went smoothly, the college administration was really helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
I really like studying history and the evolution of mankind hence, I chose BA Hons History. Ramjas has one of the best history faculty in the country. Most teachers have a Ph.D. degree at the college. The exams were pretty difficult, they were easy to pass but really difficult to score well.
Internships Opportunities
I did apply to a few companies for internships. I did get a few calls including college Dunia. The internships were given regularly by the placement team. The placement cell also arranges different seminars on internships, placements, colleges, etc.
Placement Experience
The students in their final year are eligible for campus placements. There were a lot of companies that came for the placement. The offers made are 50. The highest package was 20 lakhs in the year 2020. 30% of students get placed every year. I plan to do an MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very nominal, it is 13000 rs annually. Despite the fees hike policy, the fees were hiked up by 2000 only. hence, it was overall very affordable for everyone. Apart from that, Ramjas also provides scholarships to exceptional students.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is Mosaic, It is usually conducted in the month of March. Ramjas has a humongous library ranging from genres all around the world. Although, The classrooms lacked basic amenities like working fans and broken benches. The college takes up a huge amount of students from sports and ECA quota every year.
