Examination name is West Bengal Board of Joint Entrance. I joined this college by mistake. Had no idea how studies go on there.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical is a core branch of engineering. One who will get good knowledge of this course, can succeed in life. But he/she must need a good guidance from the professors of the college. He/ she must go on higher studies to go on deeper knowledge. So there might be a bright future to take this as professional course.
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide internship. It is the responsibility of the students to take internship on their own way.
Placement Experience
As the number of engineering colleges increasing day by day, the opportunity for getting jobs are reducing respectively. Now a days giant companies do not conduct campussing over the private colleges. Core companies take only a few students. Students from all branches have to seek their career in small IT industries.
Exam Structure
More or less all colleges are under WBUT in west bengal. They conduct exams and set papers in repeatitive manner. so students crack easily and get high marks.
Admission
I took West Bengal Board of Joint Entrance and cracked it with good rank. A counselling was held to allocate candidates to colleges. I went there and choose this college by mistake without any proper review earlier. I went to college and got admitted there.
Faculty
Colleges like these private organisations do not provide good faculties. They a at most one experienced senior professor who run ultimately the whole department. And others are junior lecturer, some of them might have passed out from the colleges like we did. After getting no jobs they might have persuaded M.tech and got opportunity for lecturer position.
