Remarks
Admission criteria for NIT Agartala are the same as for any other NIT's. You need to appear for JEE Mains and score decent marks to get a seat in NIT A. There is online counselling for all NIT's together and one has to fill the choices as per the preference.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electrical engineering because I knew that the circuital branch can sit for any placement opportunities, thus you can choose where you want to go in future. Faculty Quality was decent and most of the faculty has experience of more than 15 years. Exams are one of the best and hated parts of engineering life.
Internships Opportunities
There is an issue in the internship because there are not enough internship opportunities but it's improving at a very rapid speed. So, one might expect a decent internship he one joins college. The majority of opportunities are for people of love to code.
Placement Experience
Most of the students get their placement from the college that too with a decent salary of around 7 lakhs approx and the best part is there are many opportunities to choose from ranging from core to coding to consulting.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is approx 68000 tuition fees for General students and if you can income less than 1.5 lakhs then one can avail the scholarship where 100% tuition fees are waived off. That's the best part of being in a college of National Importance. The campus job scenario is excellent and the average salary is about 6-7 lakhs.
Campus Life
Social life is the most fun part of engineering life, being in hostels will be the most memorable part of your life ever. In college, there are various clubs like robotics club, dance club, drama club and many others. As far as sports is concerned, annually there is Inter NIT sports tournament is organized.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are good, after the inauguration of new hostel you can get a single room since the first year and the mess food was also excellent and there are total 4 mess i.e. Northern, south, veg, eastern mess. The menu has different varieties and the food is decent enough.
