"IIM Kashipur" review

For getting admission into IIM Kashipur, we need to give CAT i.e. Common Admission Test. So, this is conducted by various IIMs across the year. So, after getting a good percentile, basically, if you get more than 90 percentile then you will able to get the call from colleges. So, basically, IIM Kashipur is then the common admission process like 10 IIMs collaborated with each other and they have conducted a single interview and shortlisting candidates for their colleges. So, I'm selected by IIM Kashipur. I've got admission here. So, the process was very smooth like they conducted WAT (written ability test) at that time. Then, after that, my interview had happened. So, this was till last year. This year what I heard that they are just taking personal interviews due to covid-19.Basically, what I've research on various websites like mbauniverse, collegedunia. So, I've come across this that the review of this college was quite good and they have pretty good placement, facilities and they have a good number of permanent faculty. So, I decided to join here.

The course curriculum is designed in a manner that you would get a holistic view of a big variety of that like you to have to study division modelling as well ad cost accounting. So, this kind of diversity in this curriculum is there and you will also be learning critical thinking and interpersonal skill subjects.And about the faculties, there are 41 permanent faculties & so many guest lecturers from different colleges, different B-schools and also our college call guest lecturer from various industries & companies.

Basically, for the final placement, I would suggest people go through the website of IIM Kashipur. So, they would find the placement record in there. So, the average was pretty good. This year all are placed in January. So, this included placement very easily among all the new IIMs. It was mentioned in the placement record that Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank. RBL also hired from our colleges. There are companies like Puma, Deloitte. They are some good companies that hired from our college. There are very good companies coming here and students are getting chances to showcase themselves in various corporate competitions. Many students of IIM Kashipur has been a finalist in many corporate competitions. The placement committee is working pretty hard in this scenario. In the future, we will see the huge growth of IIM Kashipur.

So, many of us are aware that IIMs are of huge fees. So, basically, you are one time paying here 16-17 lakhs including mess fees. But the loan is easily available to the candidates who get admission to the IIMs. So, basically, colleges have some tie-up with the banks also. So, they give a collateral-free loan. They don't ask any questions. You just give the documents & they will provide loans. So, as you will be getting good placements here so you will be able to pay the loans in few years only.Talking about the scholarships, the college provides 3 kinds of scholarship based on merit, merit cum means basis and means basis. So, you will get some fees to rebate in tuition fees.

IIM Kashipur is situated in Kashipur. So, what will be better than living the nature there? There are so many trees and it's 200 acres campus. So, it's pretty big. You have a lake, you have buildings, you have beautiful infrastructure all around. You will be getting so many facilities in the hostel. You would be getting a radiant cooling system. So, basically, IIM Kashipur is one of the best IIMs who focuses on sustained ability. They have recycling water, they are using the solar system for lightings and all. So, it's pretty good.We have a fest this year as well "Agnitraya". So, in this, we call star & comedy nights there. There are different committees & clubs give their events are participant to register themselves and it's PAN India event. The college student and B-school students can participate in that. So, there are huge winning amounts for different events. So, we see the participation from many good reputed B-schools and colleges across India.

As I mentioned earlier, in hostel facilities you will be getting a microwave, fridge washing machine, and good infrastructure. You will find style in the room and a good washroom. Everything is pretty good. Talking about food that everything here is run by students only. So, the mess committee looks after this.

Basically, we didn't have GD. So, we were giving WAT (written admission test). The topic was quite easy like they give me what will be the future of E-commerce or Kirana stores. So, we have to write about these things. After that, in the Interview, they asked some random admission questions. So, the key to getting the Interview clear is that you should be pretty confident and honest.I joined a coaching institute that is providing some help in preparing for that. I also communicated with them who have there in IIMs. So, I asked them how to prepared this thing and they guided me well.
