Remarks
As I am focused on academics more, I found the course curriculum of IIM Kashipur is quite nice enough even at par with some international colleges. That is why I chose IIM Kashipur.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for the business analytics program is pretty much good. We have 3 terms in one year. In each term, there are 2 exams i.e. mid-term and end-term. The number of faculties was 60 when I joined the college.
Internships Opportunities
I would say the summer internships were really great and the highest stipend for the business analytics program was approx. INR 3 lakhs.
Placement Experience
Even in this pandemic situation, quite good companies have visited for the placement. And companies offered several dynamic roles in different domains like marketing, sales, HR, Analytics.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The academic course fee is INR 15 lakhs for the whole two years including the hostel fee. It offers scholarships on merit-based. Scholarships are offered to top 10 percentile students.
Campus Life
IIM Kashipur is very rich in terms of infrastructure. It has a very lush green environment spread over 200 acres area. The library is huge and quite good. And regarding the CCC (Club Committee Cell), there are in total 19 as of now. They have a finance club, literature club, academic committees, and others that take care of everything from dance, music, to academics.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are great with almost all amenities like washing machine, refrigerator, wifi, etc.
Admission
For the business analytics program, they are having a separate process. The process was in April last week. In the GD process, they have started asking about myself, my work experience, projects you have done, and few basics of analytics questions like statistics and algorithms.
