Remarks

The college and its infrastructure is very good. The admission procedure is merit based which further includes merit list, counselling, provisional admission. Quality of teaching is very good in this college and college teaching staff is very cooperative I have to do further masters for landing in a good job teaching is good but no placement assistance in my field so I have to work harder and after masters I would get a good job. For other courses placement is average I would say. All facilities are provided in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because of my deep interest in the field. The faculty is well deserving and knowledgeable with a wonderful connection with students. The Zoology department has a well-maintained course curriculum. The professors are highly qualified and are very supportive and helpful. Term exams are always as per the schedule and the exam difficulty level is medium. The term exams were semester based and regular studies were needed for a good results. Their teaching method is also very unique and nice. The examination conduction, result system is very good. The system follows UGC guidelines

Internships Opportunities

5

In our college, students get a chance to do internships from the 5th semester onwards and after graduation, we are also offered proper placements in any reputable organization too. Around 93% of pass-out students get to place each year after completing their graduation from university. The highest package will be around 3 lakh per annum and the average package will be around 2 lakh per annum.I have done an internship of 45 days in zebrafish lab. I have done a research project on vanilla toxicity assay.

The fee structures us quite affordable. The fees structure includes tution fees, examination fees, and library fees too. For students who are financially not so good, we have a placement cell in our college, where students can get a part-time job from the companies. And yes the scholarship is provided by the government if the student is eligible to get the scholarship. Students can apply for national scholarship and inspire scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very amazing and very important part of my life. The best part of college life is the annual fest. Every year colleges of Delhi university organize the annual fest. Also, our college Daulat Ram College is organizing the annual Fest "MANJARI". Every college brings alumni and celebrities to their annual fest. In February or March, the college organized an annual fest and it goes for a month for all colleges. The college has a well-furnished library with lots of books and journals. Our college always focuses on lots of extracurricular activities and for our development. There are lots of society in the college like drama, poetry, dance, singing, etc. Our college has a sports ground in which many games were played and also different matches were organized.

Hostel Facilities

5

All kinds of facilities were provided in the rooms including study tables, AC, beds and furnished room. The hostel meal was also good not like home food but it was a nice meal for health. Although I am not a resident of hostel but my friends stays in the hostel they used to tell me about all the facilites.

Admission

Group discussion were held in the department for the better understanding of the topic. And interview was held for the placement and internships which are asked for future plans. Interviews were planned by different companies for the benefit of students and also to select the best candidate.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.
