IIM Kashipur Review

The course curriculum of IIM kashipur is very diverse and spread across different domains of Animatics. The whole curriculum comprises of two parts- 60% of the topic ase based on Animatics and 40% of the topic are based on Accounts, Economics, HR, Finance. In the first semester, we have two subjects for animatics and four subjects from the core. The second semester consist of three subjects from Animatics and three from the core. In the third semester, we have four subjects from Animatics and two from the core. The second year syllabus is completely from Animatics, but we have four electives options from which we have to choose. IIM kashipur hired many new faculties who are doctorate. They are very good professors and few faculties are very well known across all IIM's.

For Summer Internship, IIM Kashipur provides 100% placement for its students. Many companies like ICICI Bank, Deloitte, RBL, etc take part in the Summer Internship programme. The highest stipend offered is 3 lakhs and the average stipend is 1 lakh. The roles that are offered in the Summer Internship programme are Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

For the final placement, top companies like Infojet, etc come to visit IIM Kashipur for campus recruitment. They offer packages of 9 to 12 lakh for freshers and 15 lakh or above for experienced candidates. Most of the role offered during the final placement is from Marketing domain.

The total fees of the entire course is around 1600000 lakhs excluding mess fees. IIM Kashipur offers scholarship to its students on basis of two factors. Firstly, scholarship were provided to the students of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Students can avail upto 7 lakh rupees. Secondly, scholarship were also given to the candidates on basis of Merit.

IIM Kashipur has the best campus across all IIM's. It has one of the best infrastructure facilities. The campus of IIM kashipur is very huge and greenary. There is videotor, good sports facilities, academic facilities, etc.

IIM kashipur provides good facilities to its students. The hostel provides double seat occupancy for students. Many facilities like Microwave oven, Refrigerator, etc are also provided inside the hostel.

My admission in IIM kashipur was based on academic scores, entrance exam, work experience, and personal interview. As i a student of Business Analytics, my admission was based on scores obtained in Business Analytics. After i got shorlisted, i was called for the Personal Interview round in which i was asked questions on my work experience, academic knowledge, and general questions. For these rounds i prepare myself along with the help of pass out seniors.
