Remarks
Among the new IIMs, IIM Kashipur has very bright events and IIM Kashipur has more permanent & reputed professors. And from the seniors of IIM Kashipur, I talk to them before my admission about how the college, how the college culture, how the study culture. They told me & I really feel that this college is kind of my dream college and I opt for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
After we got admission, we have an induction program. So, there are trimesters. 3 trimester in 1st year & the other 3 trimesters in 2nd year. And the trimester is divided into 2 mid-semester and end semester.All faculties are not Ph.D. Some are experienced and technical degree. I know few people who don't have any Ph.D. degree but the degree they are holding is more applicable for the course.
Internships Opportunities
This year's highest internship we got 3.5 lakhs and the top 20% of the internships, is 1.5 lakh. And there are also some big names who are providing internships like Jio, TATA. I've selected an internship for the Outlook India Group. It is very famous for its magazines, its books.
Placement Experience
It is the main point why people choose an IIM or other MBA college. The last year our final placement the highest payment was 48 lakhs per annum but normally it rotating around 12 lakhs to 13 lakhs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is like other IIMs. It is kind of 15-16 lakh for the whole.And there are scholarships available but as we know the scholarships are not for everyone but who are the bright students among all and there are state scholarships and other scholarships. Those are available.
Campus Life
On though up to now I've not gone to the campus but there are 5-6 of my very close friends. They are already on campus and I've come to know all the experience, photos, videos from them. And I felt it's one of the most awesome 2 years in anyone's life and the campus is really really beautiful. It is called the rarebit campus and after Ahmedabad, it is the only rarebit campus in India. The campus has several attractions like our campus has a very beautiful lake and there are fields for sports for volleyball. The canteen is really beautiful as per as I know. And the main thing is the IIM campus of Kashipur it conveys and it incorporates the IIM lifestyle also in the students and professors because in our campus there are flats for the professors where the professors are live in with their whole family.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are good. There are separate girls hostels & boys hostels. But they have commonplace for tiffin, lunch, and all the things. The electricity, net connection, and all the essential things are available there. As of now most of the rooms are given for two. After the construction, it is available with single rooms.
Admission
I went through the CAP interview. It actually an interview process for 8-9 IIMs I think. So, in that interview, they asked me about my previous career, about my education, my academics. And the most important thing that the interview is not at all whole about academic, it's maybe 30% about academic but remaining 70% theses on your lifestyle, way of thoughtniques. They gave me 2-3 scenario and they asked me how you react. The interview process is interesting & innovative too.
