Remarks
IIM Kashipur was my best option i had among the IIM's. The college is really good in terms of faculty. Apart fron this, it is one of the IIM's in the country, and lastly, i choose this college because of its placement. The placement is good in IIM Kashipur. These are the factors that made me choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is divided into six semester. In every semester, there are certain quizes for the mid terms. There are mid term and end term. Quizes are conducted between mid term and end term. We are evaluated on basis of group projects. And then we have our final exam. In terms of faculties, there are approximately 43 faculties and all are Doctorate.
Internships Opportunities
For summer internship, we have ICICI Bank, Tata Capital, off business companies, etc. They offered several roles. The stipend amount offered by some companies is around lakhs per month. ICICI Bank offer 80 thousand rupees per month. The average stipend offered by the company is around 20 to 30 thousand per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees of the whole course is around 15.42 lakhs. The fees need to pay in six installment. Before every term, we have to pay the fees. The mess fee is not included in the total fees. We have to pay the mess fee extra. IIM Kashipur offers scholarship to its students on basis of merit and also scholarship is provided to students who falls under a particular category.
Campus Life
There are many student bodies like student council, respective domain clubs and committees, marketing clubs, operations clubs, etc and they conduct many activities on the campus. Apart from that, there are committees like corporate relations committee, mess committee, palcement committee, etc.
Admission
The criteria to get admission was based on Common Admission Process (CAP) which is conducted by IIM's. For the Written Ability Test (WAT), i was given a topic on " E- commerce companies killing the traditional Kirana Outlets in India." In the Personal Interview round, i was asked questions based on myself, interest, where i come from, and certain domain related questions.
