I have applied for many government colleges and private colleges. I have given her mains and in that exam, I scored 71 percentile which was not good for government colleges like srm , nit , gfi etc. Private colleges were there but no need to go there as private institutions don't provide us good placement units. I am of the general category and did not opt for any quota for admission purposes. The admission criteria for my program that is B.Tech in mechanical engineering was a minimum of 60 percent in 12th or given jee mains paper with a percentile above 65 or given upsee paper ( paper organized by the college itself) The counseling was done after 1 month of selection. Every necessary detail regarding time and days to come, documents to bring were mentioned on the official website. I have given my counseling on 25th November 2020 and the counseling process was very strict with no complaints.

I have a great interest in machines and their parts. I have always loved cars and automobiles and mechanical engineering will provide me with a platform to meet up with my dreams. The student-faculty ratio is 30 students for 1 teacher. The teachers are extremely qualified from well-known iits and have a considerable amount of experience with them in the field of teaching. The teaching methods adopted by the teacher are really nice and they explain the basics to us in detail as basics are the building blocks of anything. They are highly qualified. The exams were really tricky but the amount of knowledge they gave is highly appreciable and worthy.

Our college provides internships in only a few fields like machine learning and auto cad etc. Based on the performance of the students they are given a monthly stipend which varies from 1000 to 5000. Projects are given to the third-year and fourth-year students. On completing them successfully one gets easily enrolled in an internship opportunity.

From the 4th year, the student is eligible for applying for a job. The placement cell helps students in placement opportunities. The highest package was 8 packs per annum and the average package is 5 to 6 packs per annum. 80 percent of the students get placed and everything depends upon the knowledge you have and the certificates you gain in the years of study. My plans after the degree are to prepare for gate and get into ongc as a senior mechanical engineer.

The fees structure is quite impressive. Every detail regarding fees where they are taking it where they are relaxing us. Hostel fees mess fees are all explained in detail. Scholarships for the children who are not able to pay the fees in a provision given by our college so that money does not become a barrier in the route of knowledge. The national scholarship portal is the website where college gives scholarships.

College life is extremely good and peaceful. It is located in the hilly region of almora dwarasat. One feels pleasant weather along with studies. The weather remains cool around throughout the year. The library is available for the availability of all the study material. The amenities are fully present in the classrooms. The fans and other amenities such as tables and chairs are all in a well-organized manner and good condition. College provides various sports contests to participate in. It gives bc facilities also for those who want to pursue their career in the army. Social groups for social awareness are made inside colleges for updating people about their Indian policies and benefits.

The rooms provided by the college hostel are considerably good though the walls are not as good as they were before. The meal quality is ok but is very sanitized and properly organized. Mess directors ask each student about their favorite food and after analyzing it the final menu is declared. The hostel feel is affordable and based on a regular monthly basis. The locality is very awesome with hills and trees all around.
