Student of BBE

I gave the online exam DU jat and selected colleges ranking from 1 to 14 this college Sri guru Gobind Singh college of commerce was my second priority. In the exam, I didn't get enough scores to get my priority was SRCC and also I got admission to the 2nd rank college because I applied Sikh quota. Admission criteria for BBE were to get min 60% marks in 12th and then to give DU jat exam and both were calculated to measure rank and that rank gave us admission in colleges.

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue economics further in my life. Each class have about 40 students and we have 4 diff subjects in each sem and 4 diff teachers to teach us all. We have faculty to inquire also if we face any issues. Qualifications of the faculty are very good they teach so politely and with calm and if we have any issue they are ready to repeat as much as we ask for. Term exams were held every 4 to 5 months but in between, we have internal exams also.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Chegg etc and they made n number of offers. The highest package was 21 lacs pa and avg was 6 lacs pa. 160 students have been placed companies gave offers for 166. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed by college and doing job and side by side study for the masters in this course.

This course is available after you avail for DU jat and this course has many high fees than the other course in my college, like my course BBE have near 45000 fees for each year whereas other courses like BCom have fees near half of my fees. Financial assistance was an option given to us but I didn't apply for it.

I took admission in college in 2020 before that there were fests in college but after that, because of corona no fests were held. Every book and material which can be useful to us was there in the library and we can issue from there any time. We were having the best classrooms with large spaces and ACs. Almost every sport is persuaded in our college and we have specified court also for it for eg volleyball cricket basketball etc. We can join societies in which we can be a part of extracurricular activities. There is a bhangra group called Folking Desi which is now famous and was run by students of our college in 2016 and now I am also part of it.
