One has to give JEE mains exam in order to take the admission in DITU. Since i got only 45 in my JEE, I got admission on the basis of my percent in 12th exam. I chose civil engineering because DIT has one of the best faculty of civil engineering. The DIT is one of the oldest and reputed institution of Uttarakhand .
Course Curriculum Overview
Dehradun institute of technology has many course which a person cant opt for. We have option to chose from engineering, pharmacy or architecture. In engineering it had many branch which include civil engineering, it, computer science, electronic, electrical, mechanical and petroleum.
Internships Opportunities
No,Dehradun institute of technology do not provide internship. However it give its student the opportunity to get the placement at the best companies of India and also in foreign companies.
Placement Experience
The student are given placement in final year. The company starts coming from the month of august to provide jobs opportunity to students. The student had to clear group discussion before they are eligible to give personal interviews.
Exam Structure
The semester for the program is of 6 month. We have our mid semester examination before the final exam. Some proportion of the marks we get are added in the final exam.we have to give regular class tests,project,assignments ,quizzes which comes under internal examination. The examination we have are always chilled out.
Admission
After the result declaration of 12th and JEE I searched about college in Uttarakhand. We had to register in order to sit in counselling. The registration was to be done on the month of July. The registration could be done either online or by taking the form from college. After registration was finished we were called for admission.
