Remarks

The admission process was quite tough. I availed EWS quota for taking admission.I was so much worried about my admission and I also applied to many colleges but 1st choice was Delhi University. I got my admission in 3rd cutoff. Admission criteria were based on Class 12th Result according to cut-offs.

I chose my course because I have to prepare for UPSC.I Found Satyawati as perfect for me because it was near to Mukherjee Nagar where I have to prepare for UPSC Competitive Exam. The faculty is good as the professors are very much cooperative. Every Professor in the college is highly qualified. The teaching method is awesome.1st Semester was held Online where questions were Put on the website.2nd Sem was based on Assignment Marks. It was not so difficult to pass.I scored 8.0 CGPA in my 1st Semester.

Class Size: 124Course Fees: INR 7600 per year

Internships Opportunities

Till Today completion of 2nd Year, I have not done any internship. I'm not focusing on internship, I'm focusing on UPSC Competitive Exam preparation.I don't have enough time to do next month I'm going to enroll myself in a coaching class.

Placement Experience

As Much I Know placement is quite good.60% people got the placement in well and renowned MNCs and many of the students use to prepare for competitive exams.My plan is to do prepare for my competitive examination after getting the degree. Companies like Tata, Reliance,Wipro, Microsoft Visits every year for the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual Fee for My Program B.A. Prog(Maths+ Political science) was 7600.There may be scholarship but as much I know admission was based on 12th boards Result and some admission was based on Entrance examination. Campus Job Takes place After completion of degrees.

To be honest.I never visited Campus Physically.I planned many times but due to COVID, I was unable to visit. This time I'm planning to visit in the last week of September.It is not possible in COVID to experience college life till the college reopened. I'm eagerly waiting for college reopening but the situation is not so good to Reopen the college.

Interview Experience

No,I didn't face any GD, Interview and all.Mine admission was based on 12th board result for this course. Taking admission in this college was quite tough as I mentioned 12th board result was main keytool to qualify this cut off.All difficulties faced by me was in 12th board result. I went on DU official site and seniors for knowing the admission process and all.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences.
