All Rounder Review

I applied in some college in Jamshedpur but it was relatively new so decided to choose Techno 'cause I came to my attention from some friends that it had better placements. I didn't avail for any quota as my marks was self sufficient. Admission criteria is 60+ likely in your 12th. No maths or CS CA..required but will help you if in better understanding as we need to learn one language each sem.

I chose this course as Btech was overcrowded but sometimes I thought that would have better. But let's see where future takes you. But remember there's nothing without MCA in BCA. One core teacher takes two sections, each of 60 students. There are total of 3+3 sections in our college. One is TMSL and other is TIK. Both same, just they are registered as different name under same university MAKAUT. Teachers are qualified enough to clear all your doubts. Though some teachers may have a language or pronounciation Barrier buy you can cope well. Exams were quite easy until now (online MCQ) conducted by university with AI triggered test websites.

Will Update later if possible to. But as per the syllabus we have industrial training and projects in 3rd year. I also heard we get internships related to our course but I won't review anything as sure until i experience it.

I hope before 6th sem, companies start to come into our college for placements and TMSL holds most of the placement counselling for other Techno Colleges too so TMSL gets a priority. No idea about the % as of now as i am just a new second year student. My first plan after degree is to get into a MCA college. Without that Bca has almost no value.

Fees shouldn't hike afaik. I didn't avail any scholarships and those who did are mostly from bengal government so they are restricted to bengal residents only. Being a first year I can say nothing about jobs or internships.

The annual fest Edge is the second largest Fest if East India. Various colleges from accross east india participate in this event. Various tourinis of Gaming, coding, designing, building help each year. Apart from that various small club events always takes place. One the biggest college events include Tournaments organised by Geekonix which has all types of event from coding to civil buildings to art to food. Our batch couldn't experience the classroom till now but as far as I have heard we have ACs in the building but I don't know about its truth. I am not a sports lover so have no idea about those but once our teacher told us about footbal teams and grounds inside the campus.

You need to makaut CET and just pass to be shown as a university student. No interviews or GD to be taken. You can get admited to the college before giving entrance. No prepartation required just basic aptitude.
