College life at IITG

Ranking of the college made me choose this college as well as the location. First of all i was determined to take CSE as my branch in top seven college. This was the only possibility where I was getting the desired branch. The college has a beautiful campus. Learning experience is good one will enjoy there as there are lot many opportunity along with academics. There are lot many clubs where one can choose of his/her interest. Lots of events keep happening there among inter hostels inter colleges as well as all sort of physical,mental activities. Technical, Cultural and sports activities happen among hostels in periodic time, which provides us with good experiences. Seniors are very helpful and will listen to you patiently. In hostels you will never feel alone as seniors never pretend themselves as seniors they behave just like friends. The best thing is all are provided with single rooms. Food quality is good. One will rarely complain. As of such I felt nothing bad about college as all of things are managed properly. Just except registration process where we faced problems a bit Else it's is good Once will surely enjoy there

Faculty are always helpful whenever one need can visit him msg him mail him and clear his queries. Exams held timely to timely like in theory courses mostly four exams are held like 2 quizzes and 1 midsem and 1 endsem. 1 quiz is held before midsem and one after endsem. Syllabus is completely upto faculty member. And lab courses almost evaluation is performed at every lab session and 10 12 labs are being performed and then choosing best 10 out of it. now again it's upto faculty whether he want to have midsem exam or not. Attendance is quite strict u need to be regular to classroom. Its mandatory to have 75% of attendance otherwise you will not be able to sit in exams mostly

For internship companies visit every year in college and recruit good amount of students

Placement opportunity are good. A lot of companies visit for placement. Companies visit for internship in college and hire a lot people and if students are capable gets a ppo Job opportunity are lot there

Technical fest - kriti ( conducted in September October) Cultural festival - Manthan ( conducted in November and January) Sports event - Spardha ( conducted in jan toh March) These are at hostel levels Now at college levelsTechnical Fest- Techniche ( August September) Sports fest- Spirit( September last week) Cultural fest - Alcheringa ( jan feb) Lots of opportunity through these events Aand sports culture is well promoted almost every game is played and had a coach associated with it. Almost every book is available in our library. Saathi is a social club.

No, nothing of interview sort. you just have to clear JEE exam and do counselling and select college of your choice and the choice which you get from the selected colleges you have to visit and they will perform certain activities nothing sort of interview
