I applied from SOL (School of Open Learning) Delhi University then I got Dayal Singh College and it is selecting nonattending because I wanted to do some other course along with it which will further develop my skills. I applied from general category. first we have to fill the registration form of DU SOL. Merit list come out and we are provided college according to our mark then we have to go to that college and take admission, but right now due to the covid-19 pandemic the whole process is done online. The criteria for admission in SOL are 65% or above in aggregate with at least 75% marks English as core subject or 65% marks one language at least (English only) plus + academic subject for general candidate.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to prepare for a government job in the future and it will be a lot to clear it because the program it prepared me to want to become my general is what the Civil Service exam requires. Classes are held on only Sundays from 9:00 to 5:00 am. The teacher is highly qualified with a higher degree. All the teachers of the department are kind and helpful. Their way of teaching is amazing and the semester exam was of moderate to the difficulty level.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have spent upto 12000 per year in my course look at which college provide the student in their comparison is nothing. There are various type of course provided by college such as merit scholarship, post-matric scholarship and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar state topper award for student belonging to SC/ ST/OBC category.
Campus Life
PRIYADARSHINI, the annual cultural fest of Dayal Singh College is organised by the art and cultural society of the college Library is very large with more than 15000 books. Wi-Fi facility also available here. Overall, the infrastructure is very good. Lab ,many other room and halls are air-conditioned. There is the huge playground with the sports facilities.
