All about SCAC

I have applied for many other colleges like BHU and Guru Gobind singh Indraprastha university but I opted this college because of its ranking as it is under top 10 colleges of india for b.com. But due to some reasons I didn’t able to make 90 above which is the cut off. So, I applied through sports quota and as I have participated in open national 3 times, I got in. Due to covid-19 protocols the college admission process was totally only and we are not forced to come to pune for the admission. The process was very smooth and easy. The last cut off of b.com was 91% but as I have scored above 85% and also eligible for sports quota so I got selected. When I have been selected that day I got an email form the college, they provided admission form and within 15 minutes all the admission process was completed. After admission we informed about our classes through email and college website and the deeksharambh induction program was also conducted for our orientation and guidance.

The faculty:student ratio of our college is very good. All the teachers are very well educated most of them are complete PhD. The teaching method of all the teachers is very nice and also all of them are fully aware of the use of technology as in this time of covid-19 the classes are online, still we able to understand everything they teach. The teachers are also very helpful and friendly they help the students not only in the academic field but also in every field of life. The college takes exams as on a semester basis after every 6 months.

As symbiosis has its brand name which is sufficient for getting any internship but companies like E&Y and Deloitte also regularly conducts different types of competitions and winners were also offered internships with stipends. In the second year, almost every student have an internship in different companies of our college.

Campus placement is started from the 3rd year in college. And reputable companies like EY and Deloitte have come for placements. And the average package of our college is 4-5 LPA and the highest package is around 12 LPA. The percentage of placement is also high. As the brand name of symbiosis is very important the students also get paid internships from the second year and unpaid internships from 1st year. After completing my graduation from this college I will sit for the CAT examination and then complete my MBA from a reputable institute.

The college fees are different for students according to their states like if you’re from Maharashtra then your will be around 27000 for B.com and BA but if you’re from other state then it’s around 28600. It’s also different for students from other countries. And if you have opted for a business computer then it will be around 10,000 more than normal fees. College also provides B.com with ACCA and B.com with Interdisciplinary. Fees for ACCA is around 140,000 and for interdisciplinary is around 130,000. ACCA is a very reputable course nowadays and has a heavy demand in foreign countries as well. Interdisciplinary provides many other opportunities to the students besides academic classes. It consists of many subjects like photography, bio culture diversity, Theatre and many more. Students can enrol in these programs and learn these things on a professional level.

The campus life of SCAC is very amazing. The club activities are regularly conducted and students get real life chances of performing in these activities. College fest is organised very grandly. The students of this college are from many different places in India as well as the world which makes this campus way more interesting. Alumni speeches were also organised in the college. College provides the chance of growth to every student in every kind of field. The College library is very vast and a very good place to study for the students who don’t want to be distracted. From my personal experience in sports our sports head, Mr Anirudh Sharma sir is very supportive and encouraging. We also provided credits through practising daily.
