Remarks

Admission was based on a cut-off released by DU. And I avail seat in BA programme. I am an ST so i joined with this quota. The admission process was based online du to the covid situation. everything was online. So it was pretty convenient.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course BA programme as it was only one of the most sought courses of DU. The faculty was expertise in their own feild and they were very friendly and very supportive. The faculty was very good.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunity is available throughout the year. the placement cell provides all these opportunities to students regularly. The internship fair is also organized by the placement cell to provide Internships.

Placement Experience

More than 50 companies visited every year and provide jobs and Internships to students. More than 16 lpa was the highest package. Many students get placed during the process. It is one of the most awaited programs by the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was somewhat affordable. And we have to pay per year. There are no any additional fees or any money to be paid other than the fees. I would say it was affordable as compared to private institutions.

Campus Life

The annual fest is NEXuS and it is one of the best in Delhi University. Sports facilities is one of the best and there are various clubs and societies run by the students. There is a large library and many books are available

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
