Remarks
I have applied through my jee mains marks. As this is a government college so I have only few choices and prefered this college as it comes in 2nd position in Uttarakhand. as the minimum marks criteria depends on jee mains marks of that year but if I examine at my admission time then around 40K - 50K rank student have marks in 126-145 and the highest ranker at that time was 40524 which get admission in our college. There is also spot counselling round for vacant seats also.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have been chosen the CSE as I have passionate about the program. But if I have to choose other than CSE , then I prefer Electrical as the faculty of the electrical department is very good. There is also an IIt faculty in our college for a short duration of 2-3 years.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Some of the companies visited are Wipro, TCS, Hcl, etc. The highest package is 10L on campus and the average package is 4L. the highest off-campus package is 29L. Around 85% of CSE students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
One semester fees of our college are approx 35000 and hostel fees are 2480 and mess fees is 13000. Our college only provides only one internship and also gives a campus placement in some of the top mnc like Tcs, Wipro , Daffodil,etc.
Campus Life
There is two annual fests in our college. One is Josh that is basically a sports fest and the other is goonj that is a culture fest and technical also. All books are available in our library and the availability of books is always.
Hostel Facilities
All basic facilities are available in the room. The meal is so bad and the menu contains only vegetarian food. The registration process and affordability are simple. There are very few rental rooms on our campus and every student lives in a hostel.
