Remarks

Well as for the first cut off I got in DRC, but I wasn't interested much in joining DRC as I was looking for a perfect blend for academic excellence and vibes of being a college student. So I chose KMC as I got in the second cut-off. And I got admitted in the OBC quota in KMC. Which is reserved for Minority students. Well, cut offs for our course may vary from year to year and cut off to next one. I opted BA programme with a combination of Economics and political science and my fees are merely 12345. Which is an affordable fee. Age restriction is something I am not aware of. The admission process was solely online which was really convenient for students like me who are at a distance. All procedures were smooth and safe. Officers regarding admission process were really helpful in this time.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I was confused as to choose economics or Political science as intended to choose one of them as they are to my liking. At a dubious state, I choose this course where there's both economics and political science and I would be able to choose a Masters's in one of them. Faculties are really expert and experienced in their own discipline.I always look forward to attending their classes. As for political science, there're about 120 and for economics, about 90 students. Most of our teachers are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields of teaching and they take the class so smoothly. As students who have difficulty in studying on their own are really fortunate to get these classes. They also provide us with the necessary study materials and all. Term exams are strictly conducted, and if you regularly attend the classes it's a piece of cake with the teacher's expert notes.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are companies like seekify ,leverage edu and many more which offer internship opportunities for our students. Most of them also provide stipends considering the performance. we can be a content writer or graphic designers or anything else which enhances our skillset as per their needs.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's a fee waiver for financially backward students. And as our college is fully funded by the government Numerous scholarships are available on the basis of merit. The cost to study isn't too much as it is an affordable amount. Quality education is provided which is not too expensive. As I haven't graduated yet I am not looking for any jobs now. All students including me were refunded with an amount last year from our fee.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest is something to be flaunted off for us as it's a festivity for all creativity and art residing with students. We celebrate all artists and creativity on this day. A two-floor library where all academic materials are provided along with the works of our professors itself is something that's worthy to be mentioned. As you people know few of the silver medalists in the Olympics this year are alumni of our college. This reflects the importance and facilities like the gym our college provides for sports activities. To be frank, KMC is known for its sportsman spirit. And There are various societies for students for almost everything. They are all run by students for students. He. Ritva for spreading menstrual awareness is one of the highly active societies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
