Remarks
Just like other Du colleges here in Motilal admissions are also done through du's website.All you have to do is just register on the du's official website fill up your details if you want to join the college based on merit just select merit basis admission or otherwise entrance based. There are also several other reservations through which you can secure a seat are ECA, CW, NCEWB. Then once the cutoffs are out match you percentage secured in 12th grade with a particular college and then again apply through du's official website.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for this course as I have to do LLB which is again from du so I opted for this course with political science which is extremely required in the field of law. You can easily find out experienced faculty members who are also good at their behaviour, there are approximately 130 faculty members. Some faculty members of science belong from renowned NIT'S OR IIT'S. Talking about the exam frequency semester wise exams are common rather than that some other exams are also there
Internships Opportunities
There are were less no. Of companies which are keen to give to internships. But you can definitely find some. The max stipend offered was 15 k. Offered by and Ngo. Several other workshops are established to attract students for placements and internships.
Placement Experience
The placements offered here are quite good. Highest CTC offered on campus was approx 10 LPA and off-campus its was 18.75. According to the placement report 2020, 45% of jobs were offered to the students pursuing arts and 15% to commerce and 36% to science. Tops profiles offered are analyst, consultant and etc. The median salary is 3-5 LPA and lowest is 2.3 KPMG, NGO, Bpo, Several other consultant companies visit that till date a subtotal of 92 companies visited in 2020. Around 95% of students got placed. My plans after getting the degree are to pursue LLB.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no such scholarships in du colleges but you can find out some limited numbers of them which are offered to extremely meritorious students for academic excellence in a year. This is every du college as guided by du is waving off the tuition fees for every student who had lost their parents in ongoing corona. Talking about campus placement the placement cell is emerging as one of the best for arts stream and commerce once it's is being established 4-5 years ago but had some good connections with well reputed companies like KPMG and etc.
Campus Life
The annual fest organised here is "kaafila" it's nowadays one of the most anticipated fest of du with celebrities over the year like Millind Gaba, Inder Singh, Maninder Buttar and etc. Several workshop also take place frequently. The library is one of the largest in entire south campus with 1,65,000+ volumes. The camous and classrooms are fully wifi enabled. It's football team is amongst the top three in the entire du. Here are also several societies like photography society chayaankan , enterpreneurship society enactus immensely popular in du.
