The college campus is very green and peaceful.Also it is high tech and very comfortable at the same time.The management system of the college is working very good but requires faster response system to the maintenance.
Entrance Preview
I took JEE Mains in the year 2013 and scored 150 in it. Through CSAB counseling I got Production Engineering in NIT Agartala. I opted mechanical and production engineering both during my counseling but I got production according to my rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
The academic curriculum is very strong as it includes both mechanical sciences and management. It encourages a student for entrepreneurship.The management part includes Production planning and control, Financial management, Costing, quality and more. The technical topics include thermal science, machine design, material science and more.So the curriculum is rich of many technical and managerial topics.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides internships through SIP (student internship program) in which the college has signed MoUs with several educational institutes as well as some companies like Ashok Leyland.Many of our students did internships from Canada, US and Germany.
Placement Experience
The placements of our college is improving year by year. There are many IT companies and Core companies that visit our college for recruitment. Like-TataMotors, Insfosys, Mindtree etc. Our average package is about 4-5 lakhs and the highest package is 32 lakhs.
College Events
The techno-cultural fest of our college is Advaitam.It is one of the biggest fest in Northeast India.It is organized by our students itself.It has many technical and cultural events. Every year we invite a star performer to perform in the pronight and we invite recognized guests for lectures from various sectors and fields.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure has increase two folds but it is still afforable. Per semester tution fees is about 40k exclusive of hostel and mess fees. There are bus facilities for those who want to stay as a dayscholar. The annual expenditure for a student is about 2 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are given to the students who maintain their scores above 6.5 .For categories there are many stipends.Other than this there are loan facilities available for paying fees.
Campus Life
Gender ratio female to male ratio is very low. We have one girls hostel and five mens hostels in the campus.We have many clubs like- fine arts club, photography club, drama club and music club. Students from different states come to study here. So our campus is a culture rich place.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are very good but the mess food is of average quality.We have both cafeteria and catering services.The students have to pay full money with the semester fee for the catering services.While there is token system for the cafeteria.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumnus are spread across all over the nation as well as abroad.They are very cooperative.Many of our alumni has helped us during the placements sessions by referring our college to the respective companies.
Exam Structure
The exam consist of a mid sem which is of 50 marks and an end sem which is of 100 marks.The marks are converted into 80 marks in the end of the semester. The rest 20 marks is for internals.Moreover we have 3-4 practical exams which includes report submission and viva-voce.
Faculty
The faculties of our college are highly qualified.They are very friendly and knowledgeable.They always encourage new ideas and innovation.Most of our faculties are PHD holders from very good institutes and some are still pursuing from our college itself.
