Remarks
The admission process, on the whole, is competitive given the greater no. of people with 95% and above. In terms of the conduct, the process was smooth. One needs to keep a track of the university and college website.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum lacks the specialization in the honours course given that it focuses on two majors. On the whole, the curriculum is well rounded and provides time for preparation for competitive exams. The faculty on the whole is decent.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are varied and usually accompany stipends ranging from 2000-16000. Moreover, the Placement Cell remains in contact during the entire process. Experience pertains to business development, marketing, social media, graphic designing, content writing, etc.
Placement Experience
The placement cell works actively. You have access to big companies given the No. 1 NIRF ranking. You have access to internships from the first semester and placement opportunities from the fifth semester. The placements are exceptionally good for courses dealing with Economics, Maths, Computer Science, Sciences, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is comfortable. However, this is subjective. Still, there are a lot of scholarship opportunities, financial assistance options, awards, etc. The teaching faculty is willing to help wherever required. There are no campus jobs available as of now.
Campus Life
You have access to a number of societies, clubs and sports,, giving you a well rounded experience when it comes to extracurriculars. The annual fest and departmental and societal fests never let a dull moment invade your college life. The library and classroom are well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is great: spacious rooms, great lawn, security and no curfew. The only problem is the lack of air conditioning. However, one gets past that given the proximity to the college and the above mentioned pros.
