CAMPUS LIFE IN NITC

The admission process for nits is to take JEE mains examination. The get seat in nitc you should have a good percentile in mains. In josaa you should select your preferred colleges once the dates are announced for seat allotment. In total there are 7rounds after the 7th round you should report to the institute for the admission process. The documents required for admission will be uploaded to the college site. Due to covid, the process is completely online which is pretty easier.

The mechanical course is pretty good with experienced faculty and good labs. The course curriculum is pretty good. The curriculum for the 1st year is the same and the exams are not very difficult some of the subjects exams are moderate level. By day-to-day revision, one can pretty much easily score a 9+ CGPA. The faculty are very skilled and experienced in their area of expertise. From 2nd year onwards as the course goes into depth, the difficulty of subject increases and well-planned preparation is required.

The internships start from the 5th sem and to get internships one must be very skilled. Around 15 companies have visited our campus for our branch. The recruitment process will be the same as the job role the stipend varies with each company and the role it offers. Companies like Bajaj, exxonmobil, etc offered internships for our branch.

The placements of our campus are good. The total percentage of students who placed from our branch is 73.63. The highest package offered was 27 LPA, the lowest was 4.2lpa and the average package was 7.73lpa. Some top companies like bajaj, exxonmobil, seimens, tech Mahindra, etc offer jobs from our branch.

The fee structure is based on the income of the student's family. One's income less than 1lakh per annum gets exempted from the academic fee, between 1-5lakh the fees is around 25k, and more than 5lakh is around 65k. The institute also provides scholarships which the details will be shared with students later on.

The campus life is marvelous. The surroundings of the campus are full of greenery with nature which is excellent. There are 2 big fests conducted one in each sem. Also, there are some good clubs which also conducts some special events for the 1st year. The fest will be 3days which becomes the most memorable days in your life. The library also contains a very vast amount of books both in digital and hard copies. The sports are also pretty good.

The hostels are also very good. In total there are 10 hostels,2 mega hostels in which one is recently constructed, and 1 ladies mega hostel. The fee for room accomodation and food is around 4.5k per month and the charge may vary based on the extra food and snacks the student takes. 1st year gets a fixed menu and the food is quite good and healthy. From the 2nd year, we get to choose different menus for the month in different hostels. 1st year will not be provided with wifi from 2nd year it will be provided.
