Remarks

Admission process was offline. I had to stand in a line for hours to get a form. After filling up the form, I was asked to come again tomorrow for other process. It was a 2 day lengthy process and tiring. I wish online admission were started at that time. There was no entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I couldn't get admission in Bcom so I settled for BA because cut off was low.. faculty student ratio is nearly 1:40. Teachers are highly educated and supportive. Exams were held as per University guidelines and easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

There are no such companies focused on internship opportunity as of now. Student usually do internship on their own from outside the college. Usually from internshala and other various platforms. This is one negative point.

Placement Experience

Student become eligible for college placement in final semester. Deloitte, Wipro are some of the recruiters. Highest package is 13 LPA and average package is 5.5 LPA. Campus placement percentage is low. My plans after getting the degree is MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is literally low. Like the maximum fees could be ?15000. Not more than that. There are no such scholarship especially issued by the college. Placement cell is there which helps in internship but it is usually inactive /non-responsive.

Campus Life

The college has a annual fest named "FALAK"held usually in winters. Books and journals are available in the library. Classrooms are not fully A/C. Sports facilities are good in the college along with NCC. There are many clubs like ROTARACT, music society, dance society, theatre.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
